Play Days
What is a Play Day?
Play Days are special days where members get to ride horses (program horses only), and go through obstacle courses and play games! Our last Play Day was very fun, and we hope our next one will be even better!
Play Day Requirements:
In order to participate in a Play Day, you NEED to have filled these requirements. NO Acceptions!
*Must have atleast 20 hours (meetings do not count as play day hours.
*Must be a member
*Must have been to atleast 3 meetings (the play day does not count).
.:ATTENTION:.
When you participate or plan to participate in a play day please remember...
*You should help clean up afterwards. It is very helpful when you help clean up the obstacle course, put tack/horses away, etc. ALL members are expected to help out.
*Wear proper riding gear!! Please wear boots with a heel, and bring a helmet (but you may use DEFHR's helmets). You CANNOT participate in play days if you don't wear boots! For your safety! (no tennis shoes/flip flops)
*Listen to the directors when they give you advice while riding a horse. They have been taking lessons for years and can help you improve while riding the horse at the play day.
We are going to be strict with our next play day! If you don't have your hours, meetings, or riding gear, you will not be able to participate! Contact the directors if you have a question or comment!
